GREAT STORIES FOR CHILDREN BY RUSKIN BOND

 Hello Readers📚...This is my first blog in which I am going to give a review of a book named as Great Stories for children by one of my favourite writer Ruskin Bond...

Ruskin Bond has been writing since when he was 16 years old.He usually writes short ,adventurous, funny  and bewitching stories.

This is very fascinating and exciting book of Ruskin Bond. Most of his stories are related to nature 's beauty ......When you will read this book you will feel as you are there in the hills of Dehra enjoying cool, relaxing and refreshing air ....

I like all the stories of this book but I like monkey trouble and snake trouble the most .In this story grandfather has a habit of keeping pets...But there is a twist in the story...He like to keep unsual pets . Grandmother tried to keep with all his pets but she drew a line on reptiles. His grandson Rakesh always used to encourage him in keeping pets.  Once he bought one monkey in the house and make her pet and named her as Tutu. Tutu was very mischievous monkey. A great treat fot Tutu on winter evenings was the large bowl of hot water given to her by grandfather for her bath. She would cunningly test the temperature of water in the bowl by her little finger as he had seen doing Rakesh and when water begin to cool she would run to kitchen fire to warm herself. And if anybody tried to laugh at her during this time her feelings would get hurt and she refuses to take bath. Grandmother was quite satisfied with her as she help her in making cake and puddings. But most of the times he mixes interesting things like one day there was chilli sauce instead of chocolate syrup...She also  likes to dress up and do makeup like Aunt Ruby while going to wedding ceremonies...

Grandfather also keeps a python as his pet. He used to slung that python around his neck.

That snake used to make sudden appearances like once it was found in bathroom near mirror and admiring itself and once in the basket of apples...

These are few interesting parts of the story. But there are many interesting stories also like " The overcoat ","Good bye Mackenzie" which is also a very mysterious story...

The writer has put all his feelings and emotions using simple words...I must give ⭐⭐⭐to the writer for his hard work...Thanks for reading my blog.... keep reading.... Bye
